Skypemate allows any landline handset to dial and receive Skype calls, allowing your landline phone, whether analogue, DECT or wireless to double as a VOIP telephone. Skypemate allows you to use your normal telephone for PC to PC, PC to telephone and telephone to telephone calling. Connecting this useful gadget for operation is easy, it’s fitted with three ports, the first allows you to connect your telephone to Skypemate, the second connects your PC to Skypemate, and the third connects to your landline telephone socket.Answering the phone for Skype or PSTN calls is easy and Skypemate automatically detects whether the call is PSTN or Skype. When you receive an incoming Skype call, the phone will ring and the Skype window will automatically pop up, to answer the call just pick up the handset and speak, once the conversation is over, hang up the handset and the Skype window will automatically disappear. To answer a normal PSTN call simply pick up the handset when it rings and replace once the call is over, it’s that easy. Making calls is just as simple, using the key on your phone allows you to switch between PSTN or Skype modes, if your making a Skype call the Skype window will automatically when you lift the handset then all you need to do is make the call as normal…simple!
